In a proud moment for Kenya, Karen emerged as the top winner among 17 participating nations, earning the prestigious title of Ambassador of United World during a colourful ceremony held at the Theatre of Digital Art (TODA), Dubai, on Friday.

Her unwavering commitment to climate advocacy, especially in advancing SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 13 (Climate Action), gave her the winning edge. Over the years, Karen has championed environmental conservation and youth empowerment through her organisation, the Karen Forte Environmental Conservation Foundation.

Adding to her accolades, Karen also won the Gold Award in the Junior Miss United World category for her outstanding presentation, art, and cultural expression.

In her heartfelt speech, Karen dedicated her victory to children around the world, especially those who have journeyed with her in her environmental initiatives.

The vibrant event was graced by distinguished guests, including Kenya’s Ambassador to Dubai, Mr. Kenneth Nganga.

Karen hopes that her win and continued dedication to climate action will inspire more children and people globally to take part in the fight against climate change — a message that resonates deeply as the world gathers for COP30 in Brazil.
