Making Environmental Action Real and Local

Inter-School Tree Growing
Through hands-on tree planting activities, mentorship and environmental education, students are empowered to take responsibility for greening their communities, nurturing a new generation of climate-conscious leaders from an early age.
Inter-County Tree Growing & Mentorship Program
Planted thousands of trees across Nairobi, Murang’a, Bomet and Kisumu counties. Nurturing young ambassadors in every county, with a goal of reaching all 47 counties in Kenya.

Trees for Birthday
Instead of traditional birthday parties, members of the Karen Forte Environmental Club mark their special day by planting trees equal to their age. Each tree symbolizes growth, hope and commitment to a greener future.
The Virtual Forest Program
Launched in July 2024 – a digital tree-planting movement where followers grow trees in their own communities and track their progress online. Inspired by the Power of One philosophy of Wangari Maathai.

Model Forest in Kinale, Kiambu
In February 2025, I initiated my own forest on a 50-acre land allocated by Kenya Forest Service. So far, we’ve planted 5,000 trees. Every club member plants trees on their birthday, making conservation fun and meaningful.
Together, we can make the planet greener — one tree, one child, one action at a time.
